Nitrogen, in bonded form is part of protein. Deca Durabolin 50mg causes the muscle cell to store more nitrogen than it releases, so that a positive nitrogen balance is achieved. This positive balance is synonymous with muscle growth as the muscle cell, in this growth phase, absorbs a larger amount of protein than usual. It is however clearly pointed out on the package insert that a positive nitrogen balance and the inherent protein building effect occurs only with supply of enough calories and proteins.

The high anabolic effect of Deca Durabolin 50mg is linked to a moderately androgenic component, and this makes sure that a good gain in muscle mass and strength is obtained. If more than 600 mg/week is administered, one starts noticing the negative effects. Deca Durabolin 50mg - Side Effects

Side effects of Deca Durabolin are relatively low at dosages of 400 mg/week, but androgenic-caused side effects can occur. Most problems manifest themselves in high blood pressure and a prolonged blood clotting time, and these can cause frequent nasal bleeding and excessive bleeding from cuts, increased production of the sebaceous glands and occasional acne. Some athletes also report headaches and sexual over-stimulation.

When very high dosages are taken over a prolonged period, spermatogenesis can be affected in men, i.e the testes produce less testosterone. This is because Deca Durabolin, like almost all other steroids, inhibits the release of gonadotropin from the hypophysis.

Deca Durabolin 50mg and Women

Women on a dosage of up to 100 mg/week usually experience no major problems with Deca Durabolin.

At higher dosages androgenic-caused virilization symptoms including deep voice (irreversible), increased growth of body hair, acne, increased libido, and possibly clitorishypertrophy may occur.

As most female athletes go well with Deca Durabolin 50mg a dose of Deca 50 mg+/week is usually combined with Anavar 10 mg+/day. Both compounds, at a low dosage, are only slightly androgenic and ensure masculinizing side effects only rarely occur.
